2. Employee Profile Information: The Company (your employer) has the initial responsibility to create and maintain your employee profile within the Service. This information is submitted by your employer and may include: Employee name, job title or department, and keywords associated with skills, specialties, interests, deliverables, etc. (as defined by the Company).
Optional User-Volunteered Data: Users may choose to enrich their profiles with additional, optional information to enhance discoverability and connection. The submission of this data is voluntary and may be declined or deleted by the user at any time. This optional data includes:
– Profile Photo
– Phone Number
– “About Me” write-up (up to 200 characters of user-generated content)
– Professional Identifiers (e.g., LinkedIn Profile URL)
Critical Note on Sensitive Data: You, as the user, are solely responsible for the content you choose to submit in the open-text fields, including the “About Me” profile description. Users are strictly prohibited from submitting any Sensitive Data (defined by law as information regarding racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, health data, genetic or biometric data, or data concerning a person’s sex life or sexual orientation) into the open-text fields. The Company and haptapt LLC are not responsible for, and are not intended to process, any such Sensitive Data voluntarily submitted by the user.
When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device’s unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data. We may also collect information that Your browser sends whenever You visit our Service or when You access the Service by or through a mobile device.
2. How We Use Your Information We use the information we collect to: Provide and maintain the Service, including allowing employees to search for colleagues based on their profiles. Communicate with the Company about the Service, including account administration and support. Improve the Service based on usage data (without identifying any individual employee). We may use your information for other purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and to evaluate and improve our Service, products, services, marketing and your experience.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure We will not share or disclose any personal information about individual employees with any third party without the Company’s consent. We may share aggregate, anonymized data about Service usage with third-party vendors to help us improve the Service. This data will not be used to identify any individual employee. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal requirements or protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our employees, or the public.
4. Data Security We take reasonable security measures to protect the information we collect through the Service from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no internet-based system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information.
5. Your Choices The Company is responsible for creating and maintaining employee profiles within the Service. Employees should contact their company administrator with any questions or requests regarding their profile information.

We will take steps to ensure that your information is treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
7. Children’s Privacy The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child has under 13 provided personal information to the Service, please contact us.
