After 16 years working at a big holding company and later freelancing for dozens of remote and hybrid organizations, haptapt founder Carly Sutherland found most teams operate in silos, unaware of the hidden gems within our own companies: a treasure trove of knowledge, skills, experiences, and interests that are not being tapped into.

With remote and hybrid work growing it comes with its challenges; if silos weren’t already bad enough, people won’t have an opportunity to get to know their coworkers without the chance encounters at the coffee maker or during lunch. This leaves even more risk for lack of knowledge sharing, missed opportunities, scrambling and starting from scratch instead of tapping into readily available knowledge and expertise.

We created haptapt to be exceptionally easy to use so people will actually use it and make work-life better.
